The Kentucky business community’s priorities for the 2019 legislative session will be presented in Northern Kentucky by Kentucky Chamber President and CEO Dave Adkisson tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. at the Receptions Banquet and Conference Center in Erlanger.

The visit to Northern Kentucky is part of a statewide tour to engage local communities and chambers of commerce in discussions about key business issues the Kentucky Chamber will focus on during the legislative session that begins January 8, 2019.

Adkisson’s presentation will focus on the following issues:

·  Investing in Kentucky’s Infrastructure
·  Improving Kentucky’s Tax Code
·  Reforming Kentucky’s Bail System
·  Improving the Legal Liability Climate
·  Enacting Sports Wagering
·  Modernizing Unemployment Insurance
·  Ensuring Affordable Energy Resources
·  Implementing Tobacco-Free Schools
·  Encouraging a Competitive Business Climate to Motivate Broadband Deployment

Adkisson will also address issues related to litigation before the Kentucky Supreme Court as well as the 2019 governor’s race.

“The Chamber always looks forward to our annual tour across Kentucky,” said Adkisson.

“We take pride in the opportunity to work together with local communities and the interests of Kentucky’s employers to build a stronger Commonwealth.”

Adkisson kicked off the legislative preview tour in Elizabethtown in July and Somerset in September and will visit 13 local chambers in December. Click here for a list of legislative briefing events through December.
