Kenton County Animal Shelter full, waiving dog adoption fees until Nov. 10; check out furry friends


The Kenton County Animal Shelter (KCAS) has reached dog capacity and is waiving all dog adoption fees from November 5th to November 10th.

All dog adoptions today will receive a gift bag.

All animals at the shelter are spayed/neutered, microchipped and receive their first round of vaccinations.

KCAS is looking to their community for help spreading the word and finding forever homes for the amazing dogs at the shelter.

All kennels are full and the shelter cannot accept any owner surrendered dogs until space becomes available. If you need to surrender a dog, KCAS can still provide information about local rescue organizations. The shelter can be reached at 859-356-7400.

KCAS is located at 1020 Mary Laidley Dr, Covington. Their hours are as follows:

Monday noon – 6 p.m.
Tuesday noon – 6 p.m.
Wednesday noon – 4 p.m.
Thursday noon – 6 p.m.
Friday noon – 6 p.m.
Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Sunday Closed
