Joshua said, “I am excited and proud to join your team and wish to thank Principal, Kenny Collopy and Athletic Director, Jeff Schulkens for this opportunity. I am eager to meet with all the players and parents and share the passion, love, and joy I have for soccer. Coaching is an opportunity to support the athletic skills and personal development of aspiring athletes which involves key areas of training, sportsmanship, and leadership development.”

“My goal is to cultivate a fun, safe, interesting, positive, supportive, and challenging environment,” he said. “An environment where players can learn the game to reach their highest level of competition and be equipped with the necessary skills to increase confidence in mastering ball and foot skills and learning new and different principles of play while having fun.”

“I would like to welcome Coach Joshua to the Newport Central Catholic family,” said NCC Athletic Director Jeff Schulkens. “Coach Joshua has a wealth of soccer knowledge, and we are looking forward to him sharing his knowledge of the game and his leadership skills with our girls soccer program.”

Previously, Joshua played Amateur Open Men’s Soccer of foreign players in both Cleveland and Cincinnati. He is a Senior Engineer Model Platform Leader at GE Aviation and resides with his family in Hebron.
