Her father, Doug Schlarman, and brother, Willie, were previously inducted into the Hall of Fame. Her other brother, John Schlarman, was a former football player and coach at the University of Kentucky who passed away in 2020.

The other inductees into the Hall of Fame on Wednesday will be Tom Burns, Mike Setters and Elizabeth Blackburn Huff.

Burns has been athletic trainer at Boone County High School for 30 years and worked with athletes on numerous championship teams. Setters is a 1970 Covington Catholic graduate who played on the school’s first two football teams. Huff is a 2003 Ludlow graduate who won three consecutive Class A state championships in the shot put event.

The induction ceremony is open to the public and there is no admission charge. The guest speaker will be Dick Murgatroyd, a former state representative and Kenton County Judge Executive. Before getting into politics, Murgatroyd was producer-director of the Bob Braun Show on local television from 1967 to 1980 and a teacher at Northern Kentucky University.
