Dignitaries join in celebrating SQUARE1’s High School Startup Pitch Final Luncheon on April 2


SQUARE1 invites Tristate Small Businesses and Startups to its High School Startup Pitch Final luncheon on April 2nd.

SQUARE1 has been working with students for the past several months providing entrepreneurial curriculum and coaching to prepare them to pitch their startup ideas.

On March 14th, more than 50 teams competed for the final spots and an opportunity to win $1,000. Six teams remain and will present.

The event will be held at the St. Elizabeth Training Center in Erlanger.

“We feel the mentorship and support of our regional small business community could prove invaluable to these aspiring entrepreneurs,” expressed SQUARE1 President Keith Schneider.

The event includes pitches from the 6 best high school teams from the more than 50 teams that participated in the semi-final on March 14th. Students participating in the program will have an opportunity to ask questions of an all-star lineup of panelist including:

Our co-Entrepreneur Success Awardees – Rebekah Gensler and Matt Butler, Former Founders of Signature Hardware and leaders of the Devou Good Project

Our Community Innovator of the Year – Ed Hartman, Marketing Director at Furniture Fair

Our Legacy Award – Anthony Muñoz, Former Cincinnati Bengal NFL Hall of Famer and founder of the Anthony Muñoz Foundation.

SQUARE1 presents this 2nd  Annual Startup Scholars Pitch event along with Orchestrate Technologies.

The event concludes months of work with several of the region’s high school students in which the ideated, researched, planned, and presented new business ideas. Orchestrate Technologies is proud to sponsor this event as it provides great lessons that strengthen the skills of their future workforce as well as builds the confidence and likelihood of a new generation of small businesses.
