The Thomas More University men’s basketball team sent its five seniors out in style Saturday, as the Saints defeated Wright State-Lake, 81-58, in the final home game of the season.
Senior guard Brandon Horne posted a double-double (19 points, 10 rebounds) to lead the Saints, who improved to 16-8 overall. Senior guard Ryne Callahan added 15 points for Thomas More in his final home game, while teammate Max Knisley finished with 11 points off the bench.

Thomas More shot 44.4 percent from the field and held Wright State-Lake to 34.3. percent shooting. The Saints dominated the boards, finishing with a 50-33 advantage in rebounds.
The TMU senior class finished with a 48-8 career record at the Connor Convocation Center. In addition, King, Horne and Callahan have each scored more than 1,000 career points for the Saints.
Thomas More will play in the American Collegiate Athletic Association Tournament next weekend at Alfred, N.Y.
NKU WOMEN LOSE AT WSU: The Northern Kentucky University women’s basketball team fell to Horizon League-leading Wright State on the road Saturday, 78-56. The Norse dropped to 7-17 overall, 6-8 in Horizon League play. The Raiders improved to 20-6 overall, 12-2 in the Horizon League.
Molly Glick and Ally Niece each scored 13 points for the Norse. Glick hit three 3-pointers in the contest, moving her to 136 made triples in her career. She moved into the all-time top-10 list for NKU, tying Lori McClellan (1989-93) for fourth all-time.
Grayson Rose led the Norse on the boards with seven rebounds, while Kailey Coffey and Niece added six apiece. Niece also dished out three assists.
NKU plays host to Youngstown State at 7 p.m. Friday at BB&T Arena. Youngstown State is one game behind Wright State in the Horizon League standings after defeating Green Bay.
