“As a gateway to the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, we’re excited to partner with Cork ‘N Bottle and support meetNKY and The B-Line to allow travelers to bring a taste of our region to their final destination,” said Candace McGraw, chief executive officer, CVG.

“Bourbon is an $8.5 billion signature industry in Kentucky”, according to the Kentucky Distillers Association and the Bluegrass state is responsible for “crafting 95 percent of the world’s supply of bourbon.”

Positive customer impact

With its main store located at 584 Buttermilk Pike in nearby Crescent Springs, Cork N’ Bottle is ready to extend the store’s “Kentucky Bourbon Experience” and sell to travelers before they board their planes or after they land. The satellite store will feature a tasting station and offer options for tasting both new and antique bourbon in addition to multi-sized bottles of bourbon and other spirits for sale.

“We look forward to such a positive, and frankly, natural expansion for our store at the airport.  What better way to say ‘Welcome to Kentucky’ or ‘Thanks for visiting!’ than with an opportunity to relax and taste some fine bourbon and spirits not far from where it was made?” said Vince Vassil, Cork ‘N Bottle’s General Manager.

“There will be a good variety of bottles to select from as well to bring home or add to your carry on.”

Cork ‘N Bottle is committed to presenting customers with not only the best available beverage products, but also the greatest wine and spirits knowledge in the area. With four wine sommeliers in addition to several bourbon, spirits, beer and cigar experts on staff, Cork ‘N Bottle is delighted expand as the first ever bourbon tasting station at CVG.

Cork ‘N Bottle has been a leading area wine and spirits retailer for over five decades. Under new ownership since 2014, the company also owns Corkopolis, a wine market and bar in downtown Cincinnati.
