Gateway Community & Technical College’s adult education program, Skills U, opened an additional Kenton County adult education location at Latonia Baptist Church in Latonia.
Gateway’s Skills U program provides free GED preparation and a variety of other free education services such as:
• Prepare for college
• Increase employability skills
• Assist your kids with homework
Gateway Skills U students can also enroll in On-Ramp.
On-Ramp is dual credit for adult education students. These students can enroll in GED preparation classes while they take college classes at Gateway.
To enroll in Gateway’s Skills U program, students must visit one of the conveniently located learning centers. A list of all Kenton County locations can be found here.
Gateway’s Skills U is a free resource for those who didn’t finish high school to prepare them to take the GED® test. The GED® is recognized by employers and colleges as the equivalent of a high school diploma.
