Legal Aid of the Bluegrass raffling off three bottles of Pappy Van Winkle to support Pro Bono Program

Legal Aid of the Bluegrass has three bottles of Pappy Van Winkle up for grabs in the 2018 Pappy for Pro Bono Raffle.

The bottles, aged 10, 12 and 15 years were donated by Party Town Florence to benefit the Legal Aid of the Bluegrass Pro Bono Program. Tickets range from $40 to $80 with limited number of tickets for each bottle. The higher the ticket price, the better your odds. Your support will make a difference in your community. Pappy Van Winkle bourbon is internationally known and notoriously difficult to find. Tickets are being sold through September 27. The raffle winners will be announced at 6 p.m. on LABG’s Facebook page via Facebook LIVE.

“I can’t think of a better opportunity to help Kentuckians in need and also have a chance to win the finest bourbon in the world,” said Legal Aid of the Bluegrass Pro Bono Coordinator, Josh Fain. “Last year we were able to raise $15,000 to support the work of volunteer attorneys in the Commonwealth. This year we hope to double that and raise $30,000 to further that work. We are incredibly thankful to Party Town Florence for their generosity.”

Legal Aid of the Bluegrass works in 33 Kentucky counties to resolve the most important problems of low income and other vulnerable people by providing high quality legal assistance through direct representation, education, advice, advocacy and coordination with other community resources.
