BIRCUS Brewing Co. offers its first official beer sales during Shop Ludlow Day on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

According to Paul Miller, founder of the brewery, “We will be pouring 5 pilot styles of beer for sale. Shop our BIRCUS merchandise, see the future Ludlow Theatre Marquee (made in Ludlow at Bluegrass Iron Works and Steidle Fabrication).  Packhouse Meats food truck will also be onsite for those wanting to grab lunch.

“The brewery, as well as the future home of our taproom, are still under construction so pouring will take place on the outdoor patio adjacent to the building. In addition to street parking, additional parking is available at the corner of Davies and Linden Streets in Ludlow. This event marks a milestone for us here at BIRCUS and we are excited to share it with our neighbors and friends.”

Nancy Mullins of the Ludlow Civic Club says “The Civic Club organized ‘Shop Ludlow” to encourage people to shop and support the small businesses here. The combination of Ludlow’s local businesses contributes to the uniqueness of our community.

“We are excited to welcome BIRCUS Brewing Co. to ‘Shop Ludlow’ and the city too! Great things are happening in Ludlow and we invite you to shop and see for yourself.”

This is all part of BIRCUS’s strategic plan to expand the Ludlow Theatre into a brewery to connect local history, community outreach, unique entertainment and stellar beer.
