Gahan, a graduate of Oak Hills High School in Cincinnati, is the third Thomas More softball player to ever be named to the NFCA All-America Team. She was named to the All-America second team after being selected first team All-Central Region and first team All-Presidents’ Athletic Conference.

Gahan played in 48 games this season and finished with a .442 batting average. She collected 68 hits, the second-highest single-season total in Thomas More history. Gahan hammered 16 home runs — a Thomas More single-season record — and drove in 53 runs. She also scored 42 runs and stole 11 bases.

Thomas More finished the season with a 32-16 overall record and posted a 17-1 mark in the PAC. The Saints also won the PAC Tournament title and made their ninth NCAA Division III Tournament appearance.
