Amazon holding Summer Hiring event to fill 500 full-time jobs at Hebron fulfillment center

Amazon is hiring for more than 500 full-time, permanent roles for its fulfillment operations in Hebron.

Candidates can apply by attending the Summer Hiring Kick-Off Party on June 1 or online at www.amazon.com/hebronjobs. Shift schedules vary as do responsibilities; part-time roles are also available.

New employees will join the more than 125,000 regular, full-time employees at Amazon’s more than 100 fulfillment centers across North America to help pick, pack and ship customer orders.

The kick-off party is Friday, June 1, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, 1717 Airport Exchange Blvd. in Erlanger.

In addition to hourly wages, Amazon provides employees with a highly competitive, comprehensive benefits package starting on day one including healthcare, disability insurance, 401(k) with 50 percent match, company stock, bonuses and a network of support to help employees succeed.

The company also offers up to 20 weeks of paid leave, a flexible Ramp Back Program and the innovative Leave Share Program that allows employees the ability to share their paid leave with their spouse or partner.

In addition, Amazon offers hourly employees innovative programs like Career Choice, where the company will pre-pay up to 95 percent of tuition for courses related to in-demand fields, regardless of whether the skills are relevant to a career at Amazon. Since the program’s launch, more than 12,000 employees have pursued their passion for career re-training in nursing, IT programming, accounting, engineering, and radiology, to name a few.
