Allegiant celebrates two-millionth passenger at CVG; lucky customer wins year’s worth of travel for two

Allegiant thanked their two-millionth passenger to fly out of CVG today with a year’s worth of roundtrip flights for two on Allegiant, and parking (provided by CVG) for a year.

The lucky winner was on board a 2:45 PM flight to Los Angeles. Each of the remaining passengers also received a huge surprise – a $200 flight voucher.

Ann Otte, with daughter Olivia, was the Allegiant two-millionth passenger

“Allegiant began flying out of CVG about three and a half years ago, and their growth has been tremendous for our region,” said Candace McGraw, chief executive officer, CVG. “Not only have they increased service to 19 nonstop destinations, but they have a base of operations here in Cincinnati.”

Earlier this year, Allegiant began service from CVG to Denver, and last month began service to Los Angeles, Providence, Rhode Island, and Raleigh/Durham.

“We’re excited to celebrate this important milestone with our partners at CVG and with our passengers, who without their support this would not have been possible,” said Lukas Johnson, senior vice president of commercial, Allegiant. “Celebrating our two-millionth passenger here at CVG gives us the opportunity to say ‘thank you’.”

Since February of 2014, Allegiant has operated more than 7,000 flights from CVG and now serves 19 different destinations on a year-round/seasonal basis.
