Do not send your boys here. The staff and administration favor girls in almost every aspect. Boys are put down and berated which is very detrimental to their self esteem. I did not realize this when I put my boys in their hands. Seeing the long-term effects, I truly regret it. Please do your own research and do not rely on review sites or Facebook. They have hired a full-time social media expert to create a pristine online reputation. She is very good at suppressing any negative information and highlighting (or fabricating) accolades. Search for “Villa Madonna Academy student jumps from window” and “Villa Madonna Academy dry ice”. Pamela McQueen has taken all of the power from the aging Benedictine Sisters. She preaches Benedictine values, but operates without principles or oversight. It is a true shame to see what she has done to a once prestigious place of learning.
