UC Health Stadium in Florence to host Legends Game, featuring former Reds, Cubs players


On Saturday, August 19, the Greater Cincinnati area’s first-ever Legends Game, featuring Cincinnati and Chicago baseball legends from years past, will be held at UC Health Stadium.

The Cincinnati roster includes Bret Boone, Hal Morris, Lenny Harris, Tom Browning, Herm Winningham and Danny Jackson. The Chicago roster includes Bobby Dernier, Bill Madlock, Kyle Farnsworth, Corey Patterson and Willie Wilson. A mix of local celebrities, sports figures, former Florence Freedom players and local sponsors will round out the rosters.

Ticket prices for a reserved seat in sections 103-112 are $18 if purchased by July 31. Prices will go up to $20 on August 1 and $25 on the day of the event. VIP Legends Game tickets are available for $150 each and include a hospitality ticket upstairs, VIP BBQ Buffet, soft drinks, two drink tickets and a limited and private post-game autograph session with Cincinnati and Chicago players. VIP Legends tickets are limited to the first 100 fans only.

Gates will open at 5:05 p.m., and an on-field autograph session with players will run from 5:35 to 6:35 p.m. The seven-inning Legends Game is scheduled to begin at 7:05 p.m.
