BreyerFest® Gateway to India has announced its annual horse festival, which will take place at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington for the 28th consecutive year! The festival will begin on July 14 and run through Sunday, July 16.

Friday and Saturday the festival will open at 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and on Sunday from 9: a.m.-4 p.m.

On Friday and Saturday evening, BreyerFest will host the BreyerFest Celebration of Horses Extravanganza starring the enchanting KYB Dressage and a host of fabulous equine performers including Australian Guy McLean, Loyal Equestrian Arts, Steve Rother, Dally & Spanky, Australians Dan James and Dan Speers of Double Dan Horsemanship and more. These extraordinary and talented performers have never performed together and this show promises to be the best equine entertainment of the year!

Both shows are held in the air-conditioned Alltech Arena. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the show begins at 6:30 p.m.

BreyerFest will again host the Eastern Regional Splash Dogs Trials and Championships. Dog dock diving is one of the most exciting new sports for handlers and their dogs! Pets compete for distance, diving from a dock into a 40 ft. pool surrounded by cheering fans. The Championships will be held on Sunday.

Breyer has nurtured a love of horses in generations of youngsters with its models of famous horses like Secretariat, Zenyatta, Black Beauty and American Pharoah. Breyer’s model horses have been photographed with celebrity fans and included on tv sets and fashion shoots. From The Horse Whisperer to Dreamer and from Flicka to the new Netflix original series Spirit Riding Free, Breyer is Hollywood’s go-to horse brand. BreyerFest is where kids who love horses come together with the real horse heroes that inspire Breyer’s models.

BreyerFest is a fun, interactive experience for families to enjoy. Three full days of equine performances are a highlight of the event that also includes a Trade Fair and Breyer Store, a pop-up BreyerFest Bazaar shop, a Craft and Activity Center with free crafts and face painting, contests, model horse displays and shows, meet and greets with our special equine guests, Live and Silent Auctions and two raffles with proceeds going to a variety of charities, pony rides, a petting zoo and wandering circus performers!

BreyerFest guests also have the opportunity to enjoy all of the Kentucky Horse Park’s many attractions including the International Museum of the Horse, the American Saddlebred Horse Museum and all the barns and activities.
