After eight months of preparation, City of Florence to launch new, user-friendly website Wednesday

After eight months of preparation, the City of Florence will launch a new and improved official website Wednesday.

The goal for the site is to provide residents and visitors with an easy way to learn about the City of Florence and its activities. The new website offers a convenient search bar to assist visitors in easily navigating the entire site and quickly finding the current city information that they are looking for.

Residents and visitors can go there for the latest news, events and notices regarding the city.

Features of the new website homepage include access to useful information about City services as well as links to its Facebook and Twitter accounts. Those visiting the new website will also find information on government officials, meetings, city departments, city parks, local ordinances, maps, on-line payment options, and general information for new residents and business owners.

Local business owners, residents and visitors new to the area will find the new website helpful in providing access to information about the city and enjoy the benefit of the links to other community groups and organizations.
