Heritage Bank’s Amy Roberts selected for Kentucky Bankers Association’s Emerging Leaders program

Heritage Bank employee Amy Roberts has been selected by the Kentucky Bankers Association (KBA) for its 2017 Emerging Leaders program. The KBA’s Emerging Leaders program is designed to find and develop future financial leaders in Kentucky through specific and comprehensive bank and community-related activities.

“The Emerging Leaders program is our way of guiding the next generation of bankers into becoming exceptional leaders,” said Ballard W. Cassady Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer of the KBA. “This program is a stepping stone; it not only provides them with experience and engagement among their peers, but it involves them with our organization by giving them a first-hand look at how we work together with our banks on a daily basis to ensure the success of our industry.”

Born and raised in Florence, Roberts is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University and has over 17 years in the banking industry. She’s a volunteer with area homeless support services and has served on a site based council within the Boone County Schools.

“We’re delighted that Amy is participating in this outstanding program to develop Kentucky’s next generation of bank leadership,” said H. Lytle Thomas, Heritage Bank President and CEO. “The program’s focus on leadership development, peer networking, community outreach, and professional growth will provide Amy with valuable skills to serve Heritage Bank, our local community, and our entire state.”
