Dinsmore at the Derby coming up — the past and present come together in a festive event

Celebrate the Kentucky Derby with Dinsmore Homestead!

The past and present join together best when you attend Derby Day at Dinsmore.

A fabulous festivity, as well as the chief annual fundraiser for Dinsmore Homestead, Derby Day is a tradition in the Bluegrass since its start in 1875. The Kentucky Derby helps us remember our unique state history. Come celebrate this special event in a setting that evokes the comforts and simplicity of that bygone era.

Enjoying Derby Day at Dinsmore.

The Dinsmore Homestead museum is celebrating its 175th anniversary this year and attendance at this fundraiser will help maintain this unique Northern Kentucky treasure.

What better way to honor Kentucky history and horse racing than by mixing the two in this pristine historic setting where you can relax on the lawn and take pleasure in The 143rd Run for the Roses?

Guests will be treated to a superior atmosphere as well as delicious foods provided by the locally renowned Greyhound Tavern!

Enjoy hat contests, house tours, silent auction, music, a cash bar complete with mint juleps, and of course, the Kentucky Derby live on T.V.!
