Kentucky’s oldest and largest child services agency is opening three new family services offices this year, bringing expanded access to therapeutic care and counseling to the London, Pikeville, and Florence areas.
Sunrise Children’s Services and its supporters will celebrate the new programs with launch events in each location:

Sunrise staff and officials will be in attendance, and beverages and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
Sunrise’s new family services program will provide individual, family and group therapy, and counselors will help clients cope with relationships, life events, grief, abuse, depression, and families affected by drug and alcohol abuse.
Therapeutic services also include case management interventions with children and their families. All counseling is strictly confidential, and insurance and payment arrangements are discussed prior to the first appointment.
“Sunrise’s continued investment in these communities is meeting a critical need by providing damaged youth and families with a full spectrum of care for emotional, physical, and psychological problems,” said Dale Suttles, president of Sunrise Children’s Services.
Sunrise’s counseling and therapeutic services reach into all 120 Kentucky counties. The agency also has family services offices in Owensboro, Madisonville, Elizabethtown, and Danville.
Sunrise Children’s Services offers Kentucky’s hurting children and families a continuum of Christ-centered care, including therapeutic, residential and foster care programs for abused, abandoned, and victimized children throughout the state.
