Election results: Hillary Clinton takes three NKY counties; it’s Jim Gray vs. Rand Paul


Voter turnout was less than 17% statewide, and Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders will split Kentucky delegates though Clinton narrowly beat Sanders by about 2000 votes.

President of the United States-D: Hillary Clinton, 48.1 percent; Bernie Sanders, 47.55 percent

Two top candidates, Joseph Meyer with 2010 votes (47%) and incumbent Sherry Carran with 1691 voted (40 percent) advance to the general election.

Presidential: Hillary Clinton prevailed by only 2000 votes over Bernie Sanders. Delegate allocation will be 25 delegates each.
