Parker, Winford Roger “Winnie”
Devoted father of Jeff (Diana) Parker, Kimberly (Steve Burns) Parker-Fromeyer and Jim Parker. Loving grandfather of Joshua (Michelle), Jennifer, Ricky, Stephanie (Brian) and Brandon (Christy). Great grandfather of Braden, Colin, Lilia, Aaron, Ethan, Aidan, Gabe, Noah and Elizabeth. Special companion and care taker Violet Sparka. Dear brother of Janis (Roger) Tieman. Uncle of Pam (Don) Messer, Diana (John) Rodriguez and Traci (Brian) Hall. Former wife and mother of his children Dottie Christofield. Preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Henry and Alma May (nee Thornton) Parker, brother, Ralph Parker and foster brother, Frank Kratzmeier. Winnie retired as a volunteer Fire Captain after 26 years at Dayton Fire Department, rode with Northern Kentucky EMS Paramedics as an EMT for 15 years. He retired from Cincinnati Bell after 37 years as an Engineer. Winnie loved Bluegrass country music, avid UK fan, Kentucky Colonel and a Bengals fan. Passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the age of 81. Visitation at Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, 241 Fairfield Ave. (Bellevue), on Thursday (Dec. 6) from 4:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. where services will be held on Friday (Dec. 7) at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Harold Pike officiating. Burial will take place at Grandview Cemetery in Mentor, Kentucky. Memorials may be made to Fire Department of Bellevue/Dayton, 514 6th Ave., Dayton, Kentucky 41074.
