Norman Gene Linkugel Sr., 88, of Alexandria, passed away on December 5, 2020 at the Seasons at Alexandria. Norman was a Korean War Army Veteran, he was a Foreman with Kirk & Blum Mfg. and he was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ Newport. Norman enjoyed bowling with the Kirk & Blum bowling team, he was a Golden Glove Boxer and he also enjoyed the Cincinnati Reds and the University of Kentucky Basketball. Norman was preceded in death by his wife Betty Richardson Linkugel, and his son Norman Gene Linkugel, Jr.. Norman is survived by his son Larry (Carolyn) Linkugel, his daughter Vicki (Keith) Peterson, his sister Ida Daniel and a sister in law Sandy. Norman is also survived by his grandchildren Jake, Brandon, Amanda (Sadra) and Andrea (John) and a great grandson Roman. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Entombment will take place in the Evergreen Cemetery Southgate, KY. Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell serving the family. Memorials are suggested to the Seasons at Alexandria 7341 East Alexandria Pike Alexandria, KY 41001.
