Mary Carolyn Kelley, 89, of Fort Thomas, KY, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018.

She retired from Consumer Research Department of Federated Department Stores and was a longtime member of St. Catherine of Siena Church. Mom loved to entertain, especially on holidays. Her love of food and drink was generously shared with anyone who walked through her front door. On Thanksgiving and Christmas our family looked forward to her homemade ravioli, a Stieritz family recipe, that has been passed down through generations. Mom was a voracious reader and greatly enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She looked forward to her ladies book club that she participated in for a number of years. After retiring, she and her husband, Bob, loved spending the winters in Siesta Key, Florida. Her interest in history and love for travel always led to great conversations. She was knowledgeable and articulate on many subjects in which she loved to share.

Mary was born March 23, 1929 in Cincinnati, OH to Edward Eugene Stieritz, Sr. and Helen (nee: Heidebrink) Stieritz. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Robert L. Kelley, Sr., Son, Robert L. Kelley, Jr., Daughter, Patricia Ann Kelley, Brother, Edward Eugene Stieritz, Jr. and Sister, Nancy Murphy.

Mary is survived by her Son, Rick (Marlene) Kelley, Daughter, Pam (Larry) Kelley-Gaynier, Brothers, Steve Stieritz, Don Stieritz, Sister, Jinnie Hurtt, Daughters in Law, Rose Kelley & Patty Kelley, Six Grandchildren, Twenty Great Grandchildren & Two Great Great Grandchildren.
