Louis Frank Burkhardt, 96, of California, KY, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019 at The Seasons @ Alexandria. Louis was born May 26, 1922 to his late parents, Frank and Anna (Wolfzorn) Burkhardt. In his earlier years he was a tile setter, also worked for Dover Elevator and worked side by side with his wife on their farm. He was a member of Saints Peter & Paul Parish and Catholic Order of Foresters. Louis was preceded in death by his loving wife, Clara Burkhardt (nee Brossart) five brothers: Al, Larry, Joe, Ray Sr., and Bill Burkhardt. He is survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation Monday, January 7, 2019 at Saints Peter and Paul Church, 2162 California Crossroads, California, KY 41007, from 10:00 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Saint Mary Cemetery, Alexandria, KY. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Saints Peter & Paul Church.
