LaVern Groeschen, 87, of Loveland, passed away on July 20, 2018 at Hospice of Cincinnati. She was a Real Estate Broker and owner of Groeschen Real Estate, Fort Thomas, KY and she was an incredible seamstress. She was a member of St. Columban Church, Loveland and her nightly prayers ended with “Graciously hear me, O Holy Spirit, and pour your light into my heart, my soul and my mind. Assist me to live a holy life and to grow in goodness and grace.” She enjoyed playing cards, dancing and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by husband, Jack Groeschen, parents, Fred and Bertha (nee Sandman) Berling and brothers, Paul Berling and Bob Berling. Devoted mother of John Groeschen, Steve Groeschen, Anne Groeschen, Carl (Chris) Groeschen, Tom Groeschen and Rob (Brenda) Groeschen. Loving grandmother of T. J. (Nicole) Shouse, Samantha (Gibson) Pyper, Jake Groeschen, Carlie Groeschen, Timmy Groeschen, Drew Askin, Annie Groeschen, Jackie Groeschen and Molly Groeschen. Great grandmother of Tyler, Ethan and Caitlyn. Dear sister of Ruth Reeves, Mary Schietz, Margie Mader, Mary Bertha Berling CDP, Jim Berling and Fred “Bud” Berling. Visitation at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, 427 S. Ft. Thomas Ave., Ft. Thomas, KY on Monday (July 23) from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the St. Columban Church, 894 Oakland Ave., Loveland, OH, on Tuesday (July 24) at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to InReturn, 6043 Interstate Circle, Cincinnati, Ohio 45242.
