Bischoff, Joseph Paul “Joe”
Beloved husband of the late Susan M. (nee Duesing) Bischoff. Devoted father of Penny (Tony) Kramer and Thomas Bischoff. Loving grandfather of Benjamin Kramer. Dear brother of Jenny Kasselmann, Marilyn Herrmann, George H. Bischoff Jr, Clarence Bischoff, Jerome Bischoff, Pauline Schmidt, and Johnny Bischoff. Preceded in death by his parents, George H. Bischoff, Sr., and Bertha Agnes (nee Geismann) Bischoff, his grandson, Anthony “AJ” Kramer and his siblings, Robert Bischoff, Helen Martin, and Bertha Ann Bischoff. Also survived by his faithful canine companion Rocky and numerous nieces and nephews. Joe was a member of Campbell County Game and Fish. He enjoyed hunting, farming, fishing and being a champion trap shooter. Joe owned and operated his family business, Bischoff’s Garage in Newport, for over 60 years. Passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at the age of 73. Visitation at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, 427 S. Ft. Thomas Ave., on Thursday (Dec. 6) from 4:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese Church, 11 Temple Place, (Southgate), on Friday (Dec. 7) at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of his grandson, AJ, at the A.J. Kramer Wingman Award Fund in care of University of Louisville Foundation, University of Louisville, Office of University Advancement, Louisville, Kentucky 40292.
