Johnny E. Jones, 74 of Burlington, passed away at home on June 16, 2022. Johnny worked for numerous years at Osbourne Trucking Company. He proudly served his country in the Vietnam War in the United States Army. Johnny was a UK Basketball fan and loved fishing anywhere he could catch a big fish!

Johnny is survived by his wife of 52 years: Penny Jones, his sister-in-law: Tonya Taylor, children: Dewayne “John” Jones (Regina), Chandral Jones, and Kristie (Anthony) Cooper, grandchildren: Anthony Jones, Kaylee (Wesley) Robinson, Madison Cooper, Trinity Cooper, great-grandchildren: Josie Robinson and Tyson Robinson and brothers: Jackie Jones and Jerry Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents: Jack and Ruby Jones and siblings: Betty, Earl, Shirley, Bonnie, Donnie, Tommy, Joyce and Carl.

A graveside service will be held promptly at 10:00am on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery North, Williamstown, KY. In lieu of flower, memorial contributions can be made toward funeral expenses.
