Evelyn “Sis” Payne, 81, of Southgate, KY passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood, KY. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse with St. Elizabeth Hospital (formerly St. Luke) in Ft. Thomas, KY. She was a member of the Newport Elks and Southgate VFW. Evelyn was born November 30, 1933 in Bellevue, KY to the late Clarence & Margaret (Groh) Young. She was preceded in death by husband, William “Jack” Payne. Evelyn is survived by her sons, Ron (Kathy) Payne, Tom (Terri) Payne, Paul (Sue) Payne and Guy (Jerri) Payne; daughters, Jane (Jeff) Schnelle and Pat (John) Dieman; brothers, Fr. Valentine Young and Robert “Booty” Young; grandchildren, Jennifer Payne, Heidi (Nathan) Hayes, Blake Payne, Brian Schnelle, Alex Schnelle, Mike Maloney, Kevin (Kristi) Maloney, Zach Payne & Rachel Payne; great grandchildren, Bree Payne, Tristan Voet, Andrea Maloney, Aubrey Hayes, Isla Payne and Marian Payne.
