Eileen Therese (nee Howell) Connor 94 of Highland Heights, Ky. Passed away on December 6, 2018 at Carmel Manor, Ft. Thomas, Ky. Eileen was born January 12, 1924 in Covington, Ky. She moved to Price Hill when she was 9 years old. She was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church, a graduate of Seton High School and attended Xavier University. She married Vincent R. Connor in 1950 and they moved to their longtime home in Highland Heights. She was a member St. Joseph Cold Spring Catholic church for 68 years. She was a very active member serving as Lector and a member of the Resurrection choir for several decades. Eileen worked at RL Polk and then IRS as a Data Transcriber where she retired in 1989. Eileen was also a very active member of the Newport Catholic Mother’s club, serving in a leadership role for many years. She and her husband Vince enjoyed travel in their retirement years, traveling extensively throughout the United States and Europe. She was an avid gardener, seamstress and sports fan. In addition, Eileen became an accomplished artist with many drawings and paintings that her family now cherish. One of her favorite pastimes was attending her children and then her grandchildren’s sporting, dancing and academic events. She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Lillian Howell, husband Vince, sister Bernice Rust and her son Dr. Dan Connor. Eileen is survived by her son Dennis Connor and his wife Susan (nee Willson) of St. Charles, MO, Colleen Sterling and her husband Mike of Crescent Springs, her son Mark and his wife Lisa (nee Knochelmann) of Crescent Springs and her son Kevin and his wife Nancy (nee Bartlett) of Erlanger, Ky. And daughter-in-law Mary P Connor (nee Fuss) of Edgewood, Ky. 11 grandchildren Christopher Sterling, Jack Connor, David Connor, Rebecca Sterling, Stephanie Carter, Alexandria Connor-Derrick, Danielle Connor, Katelyn Mollett, Jon Connor, Travis Connor and McKenzie Connor and 5 great grand Children. Visitation will Thursday December 13th from 11:00am – 12:00 noon at St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring, Ky. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 noon. Burial will take place in St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
