Charles “Chic” Edward Britt, 94 of Fort Thomas, passed away on November 22, 2017 at Baptist Convalescent Center, Newport, KY.

Charles was born February 26, 1923 in Cincinnati, OH to Nelson Britt and Marie Ida (nee Henry) Britt.
Charles was in advertising sales for 43 yrs. for the Cincinnati Enquirer. He was a member of St. Anthony Church/ Divine Mercy Parish, Bellevue, and St. Vincent DePaul Society. He was a proud United States Army Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Britt (nee Breitenstein), daughter, Mary Ann Britt, Son, Rev. Jerome Britt, and sister, Bette Hartman.

Charles is survived by his Son, Deacon Timothy (Leah) Britt of Alexandria, KY, Daughter, Janet (Rick) Weinel of Fort Thomas, KY, 5 Grandchildren, Susan (Matthew) Twehues, Noah (Emma) Britt, Felicity & Chase Britt, and Rebecca Weinel, and 2 Great Grandchildren, Emily and William Twehues.
Visitation Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Divine Mercy Parish, 318 Division Street, Bellevue, Kentucky from 9:00 – 10:00 am.

Mass of Christian Burial will follow Saturday, December 2, 2017, at Divine Mercy Parish at 10:00 am.
Burial will take place in St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
