During the event, presenters will lead roundtable discussions on workplace topics including what employers need to attract and retain future employees. The symposium will be held on March 8, 2023, at the Kenton County Public Library – Erlanger Branch.

Presenters will need to be available from 7:30 a.m. to Noon on the day of the event to facilitate one of four 30-minute roundtable sessions. Suggested presentation topics include, but are not limited to, barriers to employment, including childcare and transportation, career mapping and compensation pathways, building an inclusive culture, alternative work arrangements like hybrid or remote work, and workplace culture.

Those with expertise in the above topics or other workforce and talent retention themes relevant to the symposium’s target audiences are encouraged to apply online at nkychamber.com/symposium.

Presenters must be NKY Chamber members in good standing by the time of the event.

The deadline for applications is Friday, October 21.

“The Great Resignation has created a new culture of leaving,” said Nancy Spivey, Vice President of Talent Strategies at the NKY Chamber. “It’s a national crisis that is hitting our local businesses, creating a timely opportunity to talk about how we can encourage employees to stay, and what employers can do to show their employees they are valued.”
