“This will be our 12th tour and the first time we’ve featured Latonia,” she said. “We are eager to show off its historic downtown, cute houses and unique businesses.”

The one-day, self-guided tour includes 12 properties, including historic homes, artsy renovations and cool apartments. As always, the tour stops include an intriguing mix of completed and in-progress projects that offer ideas and inspiration for anyone interested in architecture, interior design and the urban lifestyle.

Early bird tickets are $15 and are available online at www.BeyondTheCurb.org until Saturday, October 1. Use the promotional code “Tribune” to save on early bird tickets. Tickets will also be available for purchase for $20 on the day of the tour, either online or at the registration area at The Roost Latonia, 3616 Decoursey Ave. in Covington.

Tickets include admission to exclusive, behind-the-scenes tours of 12 interesting properties, entry to win the “All Things Latonia” raffle basket and free parking at nearby locations. All ticket holders must start their tour at The Roost Latonia, where they will receive their wristband, tour booklet and gift.

Although an independent city only from 1896-1909 before becoming part of Covington, Latonia retains its own unique vibe. The shopping and entertainment district is anchored by historic Ritte’s Corner. On the tour, guests will discover one-of-a-kind eateries and shops and stroll down pretty streets, passing lovely gardens and quirky public art.

The tour is presented by KMK Law, Huff Realty, and the Catalytic Fund. For more information and to preview the featured properties, please visit www.BeyondTheCurb.org.
