Seasoned community banker Corey Sidebottom joins First National Bank of KY team as market manager


First National Bank of Kentucky has named seasoned community banker Corey Sidebottom as Market Manager to its team and to the bank’s continued expansion into Northern Kentucky.

Lifelong Northern Kentucky resident, Sidebottm, brings over 20 years of community-focused banking experience in the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati areas.

His main focus with First National Bank of Kentucky will be growing its loan and deposit base in the Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati market.

For 141 years the bank has worked with local families and businesses to build a strong community. Corey will help us carry that ethic forward.”

Sidebottom’s diverse lending background, specializing in business banking and commercial real estate lending, adds even more vitality to the bank’s team.

Sidebottom started his banking career for The Bank of Kentucky and has been working in commercial lending since 2008.

“I joined First National Bank for the exciting opportunity to be part of a local company that desires to grow and expand its presence here in town,” he said. “I am looking forward to helping build the bank and service businesses and individuals for years to come.”

He will be a part of the Fort Wright banking team at the banking center located at 2001 Dixie Highway Ft. Wright.

Throughout his career as community banker, Corey has served or assisted many non-profit and civic organizations in the Northern Kentucky area. He is currently board chair and a finance committee member for BAWAC in Florence, a member of the NKY Bar Association, and the Covington Business Council. He is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University in Business Management.

As FNBKY expands into the Northern Kentucky and the Greater Cincinnati market, it will continue to utilize innovative technology to meet the individual needs of its customers in an independent, small-bank environment.

First National Bank of Kentucky opened its first location in 1881 in Carrollton and today operates five branches throughout the Northern Kentucky region, including: Carrollton, Crestwood, Warsaw, and Ft. Wright.
