Museum Center celebrates 200 years with ‘Layers of Wonder’ party Nov 1, early bird tickets available now

Cincinnati Museum Center (CMC) is hosting a party 200 years in the making.

Its Layers of Wonder event celebrates CMC’s 200th anniversary in a lavish evening filled with inventive cocktails, culinary delights, live music and entertainment. Tickets are available now but early bird pricing ends October 1.

With bars on every level and a variety of delicacies from the city’s culinary experts, guests can enjoy exclusive after-hours access as they bar hop across three museums.

Walk the cobblestone streets past an 1850s steamboat and beer hall as you feast on a rustic Cincinnati stable and raise a stein of your favorite local brew. Sneak into a 1930s speakeasy to enjoy a Manhattan and decadent desserts.

Embrace your inner carnivore or herbivore as you graze in the shadow of dinosaurs and explore the nooks and crannies of The Cave with a spiked shaved ice in hand. And let our mad scientists delight your taste buds with liquid nitrogen-fueled foods and fizzing cocktails.

“We’re celebrating our 200th anniversary at Cincinnati Museum Center in a way that showcases the depth of our organization and our collections, and also the many layers of awesomeness we have here,” says Elizabeth Pierce, president and CEO of Cincinnati Museum Center. “The party is a progressive, exciting journey through food, drink and museum content that moves everyone around the many layers of Union Terminal and around the layers of science, history and early childhood fun.”

A series of explosive spectacles, your choice of live music or a silent disco and an incognito sketch artist capturing the evening’s events make for one unforgettable night at the museum. Layers of Wonder is an opportunity to encounter old friends and making new ones in a vibrant evening to remember.

Layers of Wonder all-inclusive tickets are $200 but early bird tickets are available through October 1 for $150.

A limited number of premium tickets including exclusive bar access are available for $225. CMC Members can purchase their tickets for $150 anytime.

All tickets include food, drinks and entertainment. click here to secure your ticket to the party.
