FC Cincinnati to celebrate fans with Fan Appreciation activities, including scavenger hunt, this week

On Sunday, Sept. 29, during its game against Orlando City SC – and in the week leading up to the game – FC Cincinnati will thank their multitude of fans who have cheered the team on during their first season in Major League Soccer.

Throughout this week – as part of the club’s Fan Appreciation activities – the Orange and Blue have a host of “thank you” activities planned for their fan base that has continued to support the club in inspiring numbers at Nippert Stadium.

Berding

“On the field, our season has been a disappointment to say the least, but our incredible fans have provided unwavering, passionate support every single game this season, both home and away.” FC Cincinnati President Jeff Berding said. “Their support has been the highlight of the season and is the strongest building block we take into the 2020 season. The Orlando game will be our last regular-season home game this year at Nippert Stadium and we want to show our fan base our commitment to them as we close out our inaugural season. They’ve been there through the highs and lows this year and are deserving of our greatest appreciation.”

A host of special activities and giveaways are planned for Sunday’s game.

When they walk into the Nippert Stadium gates, all fans will receive a specially designed scratch-off ticket. Every ticket will be a winner and prize redemption will be available from gates opening until 45 minutes after the game at Main Street Plaza, which is located just inside Gate 7 and above the east fixed concession stands and merchandise stand.

Prizes included in the scratch-off tickets include:

•Gift cards from Buffalo Wings & Rings, Frisch’s, LaRosa’s or Richter & Phillips Jewelers
•LaRosa’s “Ohio” t-shirts
•Customized 2020 FC Cincinnati “Heritage” jerseys (to be unveiled in early December)
•Free LaRosa’s pizzas
•Yoga Bar vouchers
•Free Taste of Belgium waffles
•$10 store credit to the FC Cincinnati Team Shop (43 East Fourth St.)

Fans will also receive free gifts from club partners when they enter the gate.

Additionally, following the game, the entire 2019 FC Cincinnati roster will be signing autographs for fans during the designated autograph period.

Special Fan Appreciation Ticket Offer

Fans who don’t yet have tickets to the game can take advantage of a limited promotional offer. The first 513 fans to use the code, “THANKYOU19” at fccincinnati.com/ticketpackages will get access to a discount of up to 20 percent off prices in any available seat location.
