Chamber Eggs ‘N Issues hosts judges-exec for State of NKY; NKU Coach Horn at Pints & Perspectives

On Tuesday, Sept. 17, the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce (NKY Chamber) will host Eggs ‘N Issues: State of Northern Kentucky Address.

The NKY Chamber Eggs ‘N Issues State of Northern Kentucky Address will feature judges/executives Gary Moore of Boone County, Steve Pendery of Campbell County and Kris Knochelmann of Kenton County (file photo).

The Judges-Executive from Boone, Campbell, and Kenton counties will discuss the successes, challenges, and opportunities for collaboration that exist in the region as well as how their work impacts local businesses.

Panelists will include Kenton County Judge-Executive Kris Knochelmann, Boone County Judge-Executive Gary Moore, and Campbell County Judge-Executive Steve Pendery.

“These three Judges-Executive have had a tremendous impact on our region. They regularly work together to find regional solutions on topics such as transportation, the opioid epidemic, economic development and public safety, and they’ve improved the quality of life for residents and businesses alike,” said Brent Cooper, President and CEO of the NKY Chamber. “We are honored they will return for our September Eggs ‘N Issues to discuss how their work impacts local businesses.”

Eggs ‘N Issues: State of Northern Kentucky Address will take place at Receptions Banquet and Conference Center (1379 Donaldson Road Erlanger, KY 41018).

The event will begin with check-in, breakfast, and networking from 7:30-7:55 a.m., with the panel discussion and audience Q&A running from 7:55-9:15 a.m.

Registration for Eggs ‘N Issues is $30 for NKY Chamber members, $50 for future members, and $25 for NKYP Passport Holders.

Eggs ‘N Issues Title Sponsor is DBL Law and Monthly Sponsors are Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, First Financial Bank, Northern Kentucky University Haile US Bank College of Business, and PNC Bank. The nonprofit spotlight is People Working Cooperatively, Inc.

NKY Chamber Pints & Perspectives: Meet NKU Basketball Coach Darrin Horn

NKU Men’s Basketball Coach Darrin Horn will be the featured speaker at the NKY Chamber September Pints & Perspectives event (provided photo).

The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce (NKY Chamber) continues its popular Pints & Perspectives event series with “Meet NKU Basketball Coach Darrin Horn” on Thursday, Sept. 26, from 4:30 – 6 p.m.

Darrin Horn was named the sixth men’s basketball coach in NKU history by Director of Athletics Ken Bothof on April 23, 2019. Horn was most recently the Associate Head Coach at University of Texas where he helped the team to two NCAA Tournament appearances and an NIT championship.

“We are looking forward to introducing Coach Darrin Horn to the NKY business community,” said Brent Cooper, President & CEO of the NKY Chamber. “We hope you will join us for this event – it’s going to be a ball.”

Hosted at BB&T Arena on NKU’s Campus (500 Nunn Drive Highland Heights, KY 41099), attendees will learn more about Horn’s strategy to continue NKU’s success on the court and lead the team to great heights in the new season.

Registration for Pints & Perspectives: Meet NKU Basketball Coach Darrin Horn, is $25 for NKY Chamber members, $35 for future NKY Chamber members, and free for NKYP Passport Holders.
