Covington-based CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services (CTI), a multi-national, privately held, full-service contract research organization is pleased to announce the promotion of Jasmin Öztekin to Senior International Corporate Counsel and the addition of Derek Vanover to the legal department.

“We are thrilled to announce Jasmin’s promotion and welcome Derek to CTI,” remarks Paul Ritter, Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer. “Jasmin has proven to be a wonderful resource for our company and our department since joining us, and Derek brings to the table skills and experience that will be valuable to both CTI and our partners. We are happy to have both Jasmin and Derek on our team and look forward to their future successes.”

Oztekin earned her Master of Laws from Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences.

Vanover joins CTI with a background in various legal disciplines. In his new role with CTI, Derek will facilitate contracts between sites and sponsors, manage the contracting for CTI’s Clinical Research Center, and advise in general business and employee relations.

Derek earned his undergraduate degree in history from University of Kentucky and his Juris Doctorate from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University.
