Gov. Bevin sets election day, Nov. 5, as the time to also select Rep. St. Onge’s replacement in the House

Gov. Matt Bevin has executed a writ of election to fill the vacancy resulting from the resignation (effective Aug. 12, 2019) of Rep. Diane Murray St. Onge, who has represented parts of Kenton and Boone counties in the General Assembly since 2013.

The special election to fill the Kentucky House of Representatives 63rd District seat will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 5, the date already set for the state’s general election.

In accordance with KRS 118.730 and 118.740, the executive order was filed with the Kentucky Secretary of State’s office and also forwarded to the sheriffs of Kenton and Boone counties.
