Chamber to host Workplace Safety and Wellness Conference on October 15


On Tuesday, October 15, the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce will host the 2nd Annual Workplace Safety and Wellness Conference at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare Training and Education Center (3861 Olympic Blvd, Erlanger).

The conference, which runs from 7:30 a.m.–3 p.m., will include panel discussions, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities with a variety of experts in occupational health, wellness, and safety.

The day is designed for safety managers, wellness coordinators, human resource team members, organizational leaders, and decision-makers to learn about important topics including key trends in occupational safety and health, wellness in the workplace, and emerging concerns such as active shooter preparedness and the opioid epidemic.

“This event is a great opportunity to take the most important subject of any company, safety, to the next level,” said Fred Matthews, Senior Manager of Safety at DHL Express and co-chair of the Health Wellness Safety Committee. “It will be packed with information that any employer can use in their day-to-day business.”
 
Eric Fox, Vice President of Operations and Plant Manager from L’Oreal will start the day speaking on L’Oreal’s wellness, safety, and health programs.
