If you live or work in Covington, or own a business here, The Center for Great Neighborhoods of Covington would like to hear from you on these and other community-oriented issues.
It takes just a few minutes to give your feedback through the Place Matters Survey, HERE.
The Center conducts the confidential survey every two years to gauge what people who live or work in Covington love about their neighborhoods and what financial and other pressures they’re feeling.
“The Center uses this information to help guide the focus of our work and to gather feedback on our efforts,” said Dan Petronio of The Center for Great Neighborhoods. “It’s not just doing an assessment and responding. It’s about really engaging community respondents in those efforts.”
The survey started as part of the Center’s Place Matters Initiative, a small grants program for neighborhood projects like new gathering spaces and public art. The survey was built to gauge how connected neighbors feel and how that connection can be strengthened.
“It’s been shown that the more connected people feel to the people around them, the safer they feel, the better they feel, and the likelier they are to work together to make changes,” Petronio said.
