Campbell County annual Backroads Farm Tour is Saturday, July 20 — see where your food comes from

Campbell County Backroads Farm Tour is Saturday, July 20th – 9-3 p.m., a rain/shine event offered by the Campbell County Conservation District

This is a family-friendly event.

See the county as you never have before on this self-guided driving tour of agricultural operations located around Campbell County. Guests can explore vineyards, equestrian centers, beef cattle operations, horticultural operations, and see antique farm equipment.

They will also get a glimpse of the importance of preserving the county’s prime farmland.

Farmers will be available to share their story and experience as well as answer any questions. Many of the stops will have items such as produce, wine, crafts, and other farm products for sale, so remember to bring a cooler and cash.

Little Rock Farm and Neltner Farm, two of the Saturday Newport Farmers Market participants, are on the Tour.

See first-hand what it takes to get produce straight from beautiful Kentucky farm dirt to your fork. You will definitely have a greater appreciation for our Campbell County farmers!
