Braxton Brewing expands Covington facility with rooftop bar, increased production for 4th anniversary

Braxton Brewing Co., a local brewery with national recognition, announced major development plans to expand its Covington headquarters.

Opening to the public in a Four Year Anniversary Party and Rooftop Grand Opening on July 20, the 5,000-square foot rooftop bar, along with increased production capacity, will allow for the brewery to produce up to 30,000 barrels and ultimately serve the rest of the states of Tennessee and Ohio.

Not only will this $5 million expansion help Braxton reach even more craft beer lovers, but will also further support the community of Covington at large. The rooftop deck will offer guests both an indoor and outdoor experience where they can enjoy Braxton’s renowned craft beer and the views of Covington and Cincinnati.

The Four Year Anniversary Party invites guests to peruse each floor of the Braxton Brewing Co. Taproom, in celebration of the company’s continued success.

All three floors of the brewery will be activated to showcase unique sponsorships, package releases, VIVE Hard Seltzer, and the grand opening of the Rooftop.

The brewery will also release a special limited-release beer called “Yesterday’s Headlines Vol. 4”.

This beer commemorates four years of headlines and will honor a year of change for Braxton. The 16 oz. can 4-packs of Yesterday’s Headlines will be available for purchase during the anniversary party at $12.99 per four-pack, as well as presale leading up to the party.

Covington was Braxton’s first home. While this expansion to the brewery’s headquarters cements the city as Braxton’s forever home, it also challenges industry standards. From Braxton’s beginnings, it was a brewery intended to make an impact on a very fast-growing industry.

The story of Braxton Brewing Co. is a familiar one. Much like the American Dream, their commitment to a fast-paced, sustained growth is what sets the brand apart. With that in mind, the Braxton Brewing Co. team carefully considered where it wanted to take its success in 2019.

“The past four years have been the ride of a lifetime. We’ve built a brewery focused on innovation and approachability, without compromising who we are,” said Jake Rouse, CEO and co-Founder of Braxton Brewing Company. “The addition of a rooftop bar at headquarters in Covington will take Braxton to new heights, and we can’t wait to share this experience on July 20th!”

Born in a garage, Braxton’s founders have a passion for brewing that has become an entrepreneurial obsession. Melding the age-old tradition of brewing beer and innovative new-age technology, dreams are born and fermented at Braxton Brewing Company.

And like the garage of Braxton’s past, its new home is deeply rooted in the community of Covington, Kentucky.

Braxton Brewing Company was also recently honored with Brewbound’s prestigious Rising Star Award.
