The Boone County Sheriff’s office has released the name of three passengers, including a man from Hebron who is deceased, in the car driven by Anthony W. Yeager, 22, of Hebron, in an early-morning accident near Camp Ernst Road Monday.

The deceased male has been identified as, Lamail Borders, 19, Hebron. The two juvenile (2) passengers who were treated at Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati have been identified as, Jeremiah Thomas, 15, Hebron and Souleymane Gueye, 15, Hebron.
Thomas was treated for his minor injuries and has since been released from the hospital. Gueye remains hospitalized and is being treated for his more serious, internal injuries.
The car Yeager was driving was totaled and came to rest just a few feet from a residence and debris was strewn across the yard on the property.
He faces several charges, including manslaughter and alcohol, and/or drugs are believed to be factors in the incident.
Next of kin has been notified.

An accident early Monday morning near Camp Ernst Road in Burlington resulted in the death of one person and injuries to two others.
Police say there were four occupants in the car, which was believed to be traveling more than 20 miles-per-hour above the speed limit. Alcohol and/or drugs are believed to be factors in the accident.
The driver of the vehicle, Anthony W. Yeager, 22, of Hebron, has been arrested on several charges, including Manslaughter 2nd Degree, Operating a Motor Vehicle U/Influence Alcohol/Drugs.

The names of the deceased and the other two passengers in the car have not yet been released.
The Boone County Sheriff’s office issued the following release regarding the accident:
On 7/8/2019, at approximately 3:18 am, Boone County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the 2000 block of Bluestem Drive in Burlington for a reported accident with extrication.
Upon arrival on scene, deputies observed a white, 2006 Chevrolet Malibu in the backyard of a residence on Bluestem with one (1) deceased male occupant.
Upon further investigation, deputies learned that the vehicle was traveling south, approaching the 6700 block of Camp Ernst Road with four (4) occupants in the vehicle.
The vehicle left the right side of the roadway and traveled through two (2) front yards, struck a tree, and then traveled through a wood line which damaged a fence before finally resting in the backyard of the Bluestem address.
There were two (2) passengers that were transported to Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati. One passenger sustained minor injuries and the other passenger sustained serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
The identities of the two (2) passengers along with the deceased is being withheld at this time until proper notifications are made.
The driver, Anthony W. Yeager, 22, of Hebron was later arrested and charged with the following: Manslaughter 2nd Degree, Operate Motor Vehicle U/Influence Alcohol/Drugs/ETC. .08 – 1st Offense, Assault 2nd Degree, Assault 4th Degree (minor injury), Criminal Mischief 1st Degree, Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess, Operating on Suspended or Revoked Operator’s License. Yeager has been lodged at the Boone County Detention Center.
Preliminary indications show that the vehicle was traveling in access of 20MPH above the posted speed limit.
Camp Ernst Road was shut down for approximately six (6) hours Monday morning, but has since been reopened as of 9:00 am. The Boone County Coroner with the assistance from the Boone County Accident Reconstruction Unit and the Kenton County Police Accident Reconstruction Unit will continue to investigate the scene.
