Redwood, TBNK announce joint television agreement to air “What’s Good from the Wood” program


Redwood and The Telecommunications Board of Northern Kentucky (TBNK) announced a joint venture to air Redwood’s weekly What’s Good from the Wood on local cable television.

The joint announcement was made Friday by Redwood’s Director of Philanthropy, Carol Serrone and Jason Dudas, Program Director for TBNK.

Redwood is a nonprofit, special needs facility located in Northern Kentucky. Redwood services 800 clients, from six weeks to 82 years old.

The weekly TV show – What’s Good from the Wood is produced, directed and hosted by Redwood clients.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for Redwood and its clients to gain exposure in the community, and at the same time a wonderful experience for those involved with our weekly production,” Serrone said. “We are certainly grateful and at the same time thankful for the people who made this possible at TBNK.”


Redwood’s What’s Good from the Wood will air Tuesday’s at 3:30 p.m. and then in the prime-time slot – Wednesdays at 7 p.m. 

These airings will both be on TBNK 185 (Spectrum) and TBNK 821 (Cincinnati Bell) in Kenton County.

TBNK was created over 20 years ago to serve the Public, Educational and Government needs of Kenton County and its cities.

Today, TBNK maintains six TV channels on two cable systems bringing its viewers a wide variety of programming including high school and college sports, local government meetings, religion, music, arts and much more.

Much of the programming on TBNK’s channels is produced by, and for, the citizens of Kenton County, giving the community a voice in today’s information-filled world.

Redwood, celebrating its 66th year, guides children and adults with severe and multiple disabilities to achieve independence and reach their highest potential throughout their lives by providing enriching educational, therapeutic, and vocational services.
