NKITA hosts session on incident response policies following a cyber security breach

Northern Kentucky International Trade & Affairs will host its next session on cybersecurity and incident response policies at C-Forward from 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 27.

Frost Brown Todd attorney, Victoria Beckman, will present information about developing, implementing, and executing incident response policies after a security breach. Continuing Legal Education Credits are pending for this session.

“Privacy is so important in this age of information and technology,” said Debby Shipp, Vice President of International Trade & Affairs for the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce (NKY Chamber). “That’s why we are so excited for Victoria Beckman to speak to our members about how to keep information private, and what to do in the event of a security breach.”

Beckman is the co-chair of Frost Brown Todd’s privacy and data security team and Chair of the Latin America desk with years of experience speaking on issues of cybersecurity and data breach response. Although her practice focuses on privacy and information security, she also represents U.S. and foreign companies in intellectual property, business, and cross border transactions.
