Campbell County Public Library offers activities for adults and children at all branches in June


The Campbell County Public Library operates four branches.

The Cold Spring Branch is located at 3920 Alexandria Pike in Cold Spring, phone 859-781-6166. The Carrico/Fort Thomas Branch is located at 1000 Highland Ave. in Fort Thomas, phone 859-572-5033. The Newport Branch is located at 901 E. Sixth St. in Newport, phone 859-572-5035. The Alexandria Branch is located at 8830 Alexandria Pike in Alexandria, phone 859-572-7463.

There are two Express locations for pickups and returns in Silver Grove and Melbourne.

Movie Making Camp
5 pm Mondays, June 10, 17 & 24
Be part of making one of three movies. You will learn how to develop a script and all the tools that will be used to film and edit a movie in a four part series this June. There will be a red carpet movie premiere on Friday, June 28, and all three movies will air on Campbell Media channel 186 on Spectrum and 811 on Cincinnati Bell as well as the library website. Paint & Bake Summer Magnets

Let’s get our paint on! Each registered child will get to pick a ceramic magnet to paint to their liking. Once the masterpiece has been painted, guests from Paint and Bake will fire the creation in their studio to be picked up at a later date. Grades 1-5. Registration required.

Donkey Milk Soap

Hippocrates called Donkey Milk a cure-all. Today you will get to test that for yourself. In this hands-on workshop, participants will customize a raw, aged donkey milk soap. Relatives Raising Relatives Support Group

Relatives Raising Relatives are grandparents, aunts, uncles, adult siblings, etc., who have assumed the responsibility for raising children. This monthly group provides the time and space to discuss your experiences and offers a network of support to those in our area who are raising relatives. In this group, we will learn from one another as well as guest speakers and learn parenting tips and information about programs and services in our area that could benefit you and your child.
