Burlington massage parlor busted following weeks-long investigation, owner charged with prostitution

A Boone County massage parlor owner was arrested Wednesday and charged with prostitution, a Class B Misdemeanor.

In a statement, the Boone County Sheriff’s office reports  Yu Hong, of Union, was arrested following an investigation of Yo Yo Massage in Burlington.

The report indicates the investigation lasted several weeks.

The Boone County Sheriff’s office released the following statement regarding the arrest:

 On Wednesday, June 05, 2019, at approximately 1140 hours, Boone County Sheriff’s Office deputies executed a search warrant at a massage parlor located within the 1600 block of Burlington Pike. The female owner of the massage parlor was ultimately arrested. A subsequent search warrant was served at her residence in Union. 

Yu Hong, 54, of Union was arrested and charged with Prostitution, a Class B Misdemeanor. The Boone County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Unit (CSU) received a complaint about the possibility of prostitution taking place at YoYo Massage, a business owned by Hong. After an investigation that lasted several weeks, deputies were able to obtain a search warrant for YoYo Massage. Upon execution of the search warrant, deputies located Hong inside of the business where she was placed under arrest. 

Additionally, deputies executed a search warrant at Hong’s residence, located within the 10600 block of War Admiral Drive in Union. The search of the residence yielded additional evidence which supports Hong’s illicit business to include ledgers, cash and bank account information.
