St. Elizabeth Physicians, Humana open new health resource center in Covington, free and open to the public

One of the most respected medical providers in Greater Cincinnati, St. Elizabeth Physicians, is teaming up with leading health and well-being company Humana to create a new community health resource center in Covington.

A ribbon-cutting will be held on Wednesday, May 15, at 9:30 a.m. followed by free sample programing — open to the public at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.

The Humana center at St. Elizabeth, 1500 James Simpson Jr. Way, Suite 204, is a no-cost resource open to everyone. On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, it is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Wednesdays, it is open noon to 7 p.m. It is a place to have your health questions answered, get connected to local resources, and engage in healthy activities.

The center aims to create a more coordinated patient experience and help improve the health and well-being of people in Northern Kentucky.

The Humana center at St. Elizabeth will be open to the public, with no charge for its services.

It will feature:

– A Humana nurse for health education and access to St. Elizabeth doctors and Humana clinical resources
– A St. Elizabeth community liaison to help with coordinating patient care and scheduling
– A Humana customer care specialist for assistance with questions about benefits, bills and claims
– Nutrition and general health classes.

Humana is committed to improving the health and well-being of the communities it serves. Humana centers bring that goal to life by breaking down barriers to health and helping community members be healthy together. For more, please visit the website.
