Briefs: NKY Chamber June Pints – marketing the region: new drone photography business in Villa Hills


The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce (NKY Chamber) continues its popular Pints & Perspectives event series with “Marketing the Region Nationally,” on Wednesday, June 26, from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.

“The Greater Cincinnati region is a vibrant area that drew in 26.1 million visitors in 2016 resulting in $1.1 billion in tax revenue from tourism,” said Brent Cooper, president & CEO of the NKY Chamber. “I’m excited for attendees to learn more about the ‘pitch’ used to sell our region and the return on investment for local businesses.”

Hosted at the brand new BB Riverboats facility (101 Riverboat Row, Newport, KY 41071), attendees will hear from speakers Susan Lomax from Source Cincinnati, Eric Summe from meetNKY/Northern Kentucky CVB, and Wade Williams from REDI Cincinnati about what marketing the region on the national stage means for recruiting talent, tourism, and economic development.

Registration for Pints & Perspectives: Marketing the Region Nationally is $25 for NKY Chamber members, $35 for future NKY Chamber members, and $20 for NKYP Passport Holders. Pre-registration is required and is available online at nkychamber.com/events.

A new aerial photography business, Aerial Art Drone Photography, is getting started in Villa Hills.

Owner, Tiffany Freytag is excited to launch this business as an aerial photographer. Freytag is originally from Fort Thomas and has lived in Villa Hills since 2006. 

Freytag’s credentials include a private pilot’s licence, a FAA, Part 107 Certification and experience with Adobe Lighthouse and Premier.

She is using a Phantom 4 Pro drone to capture video and stills of landscapes, cityscapes, private homes and businesses.

Aerial Art Drone Photography specializes in gaining unique perspectives whether it is for realtors, home owners checking for roof damage, gardens (before and after), businesses like golf courses, wedding venues, water parks, vineyards, and landscapers or even just for fun.

Aerial Art Drone Photography is inviting those who are interested in learning more about drone photography to meet her at the gazebo in Hinkle Magnolia Garden in Eden Park by Mirror Lake.

Freytag will photograph the fountains and Krohn Conservatory on Friday, June 7th at noon (weather permitting).

She will also talk a little about the technology, the certifications and how the Phantom 4 Pro works before she begins the photography. Once the aerial photoshoot is completed, guests will be able to view the results right there.
